Work

Crooked Media - YouTube

I’m currently a producer & editor at Crooked Media, working mainly as video producer on Lovett or Leave It, and previously the podcast Takeline  and web series ALL CAPS NBA. Takeline was a weekly podcast hosted by Jason Concepcion in an exploration of the NBA and sports culture. Routine duties include: YouTube management, video editing, camera operating, guest booking, research, publishing & graphic design.

In the winter of 2020 I helped edit, engineer, media manage and make post-production decisions on Half-Forgotten History with Trey Wingo. It’s a videopod that unpacks lesser-known moments from NFL players who created the game’s greatest moments. McDonalds, State Farm, Draft Kings & Maker’s Mark served as sponsors.

In the summer and fall of 2020 I helped produce, script, engineer and edit The Sports Gap, with Richard Jefferson. Beginning in Orlando’s NBA Bubble, The Sports Gap takes a lighthearted look at some of the country’s most pressing issues, through the lens of self-described ‘bronze medalist,’ budding social media maven and ESPN play-by-play announcer.

Here’s more work I’ve helped produce, research, engineer & edit (UFC Unfiltered, Geoff Schwartz Is Smarter Than You, Starkville, To Be Honest, Football Fact Shek and Love in Quarantine):

In the spring of 2019 I served as segment producer and video editor on IGN’s Game of Thrones Watch Party live streams. IGN hosted pre-and-post show live stream shows for each Season 8 episode. I edited and produced the following segments:

BELOW THE BELT explores the intersection of combat sports and pop culture through the eyes of former fighter, comedian and red carpet host Brendan Schaub. The program discusses the latest news in combat sports and pop culture, with Schaub delivering candid thoughts in his unique and unfiltered style. Below The Belt features interviews with the biggest names in combat sports and entertainment, road trips, fight camp visits, sketches, animation and pop-culture spoofs.

Here are a couple pieces that I edited & segment produced:

These are stories I wrote for Elite Daily:

In 2013, the Royals ran off a 43-27 record in the final stretch, and in 2014 they went 41-27 to end the season.

If Kansas City wins at least 38 games in the second half of this year, they will clinch their first 90-win season since 1989 and likely the AL Central crown.

In an industry that pays homage to image and beauty as much as surfing prowess, no company reigns supreme in women’s surf clothing more than Roxy. They are indeed the crème de la crème of women’s clothing companies and are among the most prestigious of anything related to female surfing. Among their talented and beautiful team of riders is one of the top longboarders in the world, Kassia Meador.
